Crawford Chamber Hosts Digital Ready Business Training
Crawford County Chamber partners with Purdue Extension Community Development to bring the Digital Ready Business training to community members.
Crawford County, IN (March 2022)- The Digital Ready Business initiative was born from Purdue Extension Community Development with the goal of strengthening the online skills of small businesses. The course consists of 12 interactive modules ranging from “claiming your digital bubble” to “emerging business technology”, and boasts high success rates reported from businesses that have taken part in the program. Through the initiative, participants will understand the importance of the digital space, what tools are available to them, and how they can use those tools to grow their business’s online presence.
“In a study published by McKinsey & Company, it was concluded that investment in digital technologies has been a critical part of successfully navigating the pandemic. On average in North America, the COVID crisis has accelerated the digitalization of customer interaction by 3 years. Technology is no longer a negotiable for businesses, it is a necessity. The Digital Ready Business initiative is a great resource, and the Chamber is proud to partner with Purdue Extension to bring it to Crawford County.” says Mandi Elliott, Treasurer of the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce.
The Crawford Chamber is offering this program to all Crawford County residents, with a discounted rate for Chamber members. Participants can sign up for the entire course, or sign up for modules individually. The prices for members and non-members are $150/$250 for the course and $15/$25 for individual modules. Non-members can access the discounted rate by enrolling in the Chamber. Classes will take place in May and June 2022. Specific dates are listed on the Crawford County Chamber Facebook page.
