LEAVENWORTH, IND. June 29, 2020 —- USDA’s Farmers to Families Food Box Program will be coming to the Marengo Underground Warehouse at 300 Union Street in Marengo, IN on Tuesday July 9 and Tuesday, August 4.
All families in Crawford County are eligible to receive a food box, no questions asked. Food boxes will be family sized and consist of a variety of farm fresh produce and dairy products from Prairie Farms. Items included vary but are likely to include; celery, romaine, cabbage, potatoes, apples, onions, white and chocolate milk, cream cheese, onion dip, cottage cheese.
This is a drive through event rain or shine. Traffic will be directed, and you must stay in your vehicle while volunteers load boxes into your trunk. Distribution begins at 4:30PM and ends at 6:30PM. Please do not arrive to early as there is limited access in downtown Marengo. Traffic will be controlled.
